Summary: Ohno Satoshi lead a normal life until he met one man that seems open up something in his life.
The music loudly played through the club. It is full of people dancing together or merely just enjoyed hanging out with sort of drinks. A bleached hair guy pushed through the crowd dragging his reluctant brunette friend who wished he was not there in the first place.
"Toma, I don't think I want to be here anymore," the brunette said over the loud music.
"Aw come on Oh-chan, you haven't been to any of these clubs before. So why not loosen up a bit? Here, a drink." Toma pushed a glass of beer towards his friend, Ohno.
But Ohno did not accept it and tugged his wrist off his friend. He just agreed with Toma earlier because the man stubbornly insisted for him to come but the moment he stepped in there, he did not like it at all. He even felt some eyes on him and make him feel goose bumps. “That’s it, I want to go home,” he snapped.
“But Oh-chan...” Toma started to whine but Ohno shook his head determinedly. “I’m going home, see you tomorrow.” Ohno left his friend and tried to get through the ever increasing crowd out to the entrance when he bumped shoulder with a guy. He apologized and continues his way around. Somehow he managed to get near the exit when his path is blocked by three drunken looking guys. “Leaving already?” One of them slurred. “Or your friend could not entertain you enough? Why not join us, pretty?”
Ohno frowned and looked both to his sides there is no one else beside him so he is the one they called pretty. Ohno has been called cute sometimes but never pretty, it makes him feel feminine, and he didn’t think he is pretty nor he is a girl though he does have some effeminate features. Toma has put out his clothes for that night so he was wearing some tight black leather pants that ride low on his hips and black V-neck shirt showing his beautiful collarbone and nape with just his silver necklace accessories that he really fond of. Ohno now blamed Toma that the three guys practically drooled over him when he really is not interested.
“Sorry guys, he’s going with me.” An arm draped over his shoulder startled him, Ohno looked to his side in surprise, a guy appeared out of nowhere that has height the same as him gave a cold smile at the three guys in front of him. “So fuck off,” the guy said icily.
The three guys gritted their teeth but said nothing and left Ohno and the guy alone to join the crowd. Ohno thought the guy will let his arm off him but no, the guy steered him wordlessly until he is safely out of the club. That is when the guy finally let go of him. “You really did not suit to be in this kind of place so better not coming here again.”
Ohno scowled, he does not need that sort of advice from a man he just met. “You might be raped if I’m not coming to save your ass.” “I can look after myself,” said Ohno. “Oh really, what you’re gonna do? Glare at them?” The guy replied sarcastically. Ohno now properly looked at the guy, the guy looked so young, he looked like seventeen although it should not be the case since the club did not allowed under twenty-one. He has tousled hair with side swept bangs and brown highlights. A mole under his chin really attracted Ohno’s attention. “Thank you then,” Ohno flustered, he never good with meeting new people and he were pissed off by the three guys earlier. “I’ll be going now so you don’t have to save my ass again.”
“Why not I walked you home as well, you never know what walked on this earth during the night won’t you?” The guy gave him a kittenish smirk.
Ohno neither agree nor disagree for having the man walking him home, he did not know if he has to trust him as well. He suspected the guy will be doing the same thing the three guys earlier but nothing of the sort came. The guy, Ninomiya as he introduced himself, talked mostly random stuffs to Ohno as they walked. Ohno mostly stayed silent, only sometimes responding. He even knew Nino (he decides to call by nickname) like to played games and he going out to the club tonight just because he did not have new games to play with as he finished them all already. Ohno thought Nino is not such a bad guy for now.
They stopped in front of Ohno’s house. Ohno faced Nino but the latter spoke first. “So your house is here. Thanks for letting me walked you home. See you again, Oh-chan.” For the first time, Nino smiled at him and under the moonlight, the smile looked more mesmerizing that Ohno feels his cheeks warmed and he nodded briefly before muttered a thanks and good bye.
Ohno walked towards the front door and when he looked back, Nino had already gone. Ohno pouted, at least he wants to see Nino for the last time, and he shrugged and walked into his house just to receive a scolding from his mom for not telling him why he came back so late.

“Oh-chan~~ Sorry for last night,” Toma took a place beside Ohno where he been drawing on his sketchpad, they are on their usual spot at the university where they study.
“It’s alright, Toma. Promise me not to bring me to that place or anywhere else like that. I don’t like it.” Ohno decide not to tell Toma about his encounter with Nino.
Toma held up his hands in surrender, “I promise,” he grinned. “So do you get back home safely? I’m worried you were lost last night.”
“I’m not that dim to don’t know my own way back, Toma,” Ohno has stopped drawing and now merely pouting. Toma laughed and apologized again. “Want to eat ramen after this?”
“Only if you treat,” Ohno grinned sheepishly, Toma punched him playfully on the shoulder. “Fine then, my treat. But next time your turn!”
After his ramen treat with Toma, Ohno decided to walk off some of the fat while searching for some inspiration when he came across a park and sat down for a little rest. Ohno thought he has fallen asleep on the bench and cursed himself as he watched the time. He has been asleep for an hour. A chuckle from his right startled him. “Nino?”
“Your expression is funny,” the same guy he met last night apparently sitting beside him on the bench. “Sorry, I didn’t mean to bother or stalk you, but I saw you fall asleep and decide to sit here just in case you didn’t get mugged or something.”
“Ah...thank you.” Ohno felt embarrassed. He is already indebted with Nino twice now. “Do you live near here?”
“Well, sort of... we’ve just moved.” Nino answered nonchalantly.
“We?” Ohno raised an eyebrow at that.
“I live with my three best friends. They are good guys, you should meet them someday.”
“I don’t think I should. I just met you, Nino. It will be sudden... and I’m not good meeting with new person.” The last one came out as whisper.
“Oh I see, you’re a shy person ne,” Nino smiled. “It is like you” Nino added under his breath.
“Sorry?”
Nino shook his head. “Are you planning to go back home now, Oh-chan?”
Ohno looked down at his watch oblivious to the nickname. “It’s already late. I might as well go back now or I got another scolding again.”
“Let’s go then, I walked you home, I got nothing to do anyway.”
Ohno lied on his bed that night staring at his ceiling, his mind went back to the guy he just met twice in less than 24 hours. Nino. Somehow the name rang repeatedly in his mind and his lips so easy to say the name as if he used to call that name. He felt something with the guy, he felt like he knew him from somewhere before but Ohno thought that was the first time he ever met Nino that night never anywhereelse. With this flow of thoughts, Ohno finally fell into dream world unconcern of being watched from the darkness of his room.

Every Wednesday and Thursday, Ohno will have part-time job at a bakery, delivery all the goods to customers who ordered. And that day he only has one order to be delivered. Ohno read the address again when he stopped his bicycle for the second time. He has stopped in front of old iron double gate that lead the Victorian style mansion that looked old and covered with ivy on its walls. Ohno never knew this creepy looking mansion existed since he was born. The place is also secluded, away from the main road.
Ohno opened the gate made of rusty irons with a loud squeak and slowly with his bicycle he walked to the front double oak door. He knocked twice, “Hello this is from the Sammi Bakery House, I have your delivery.”
He waited a moment, but there is neither answer nor movement from the inside. Ohno figured he should knock again. But when his hand rose to knock another time, the door open with a loud creak, creeping him out. “Hello?” There’s no one behind the door, Ohno checked as he walked in with the goods.
“In here!” A familiar voice called out from the right room from the foyer. Ohno walked there cautiously, the mansion is huge and smelled so musky. It looked bare with less furniture. Ohno knocked the room and ‘enter’ is heard and Ohno opened the door.
It was a huge sitting room with old antics furniture, but fortunately Ohno spotted a TV was switched on and the occupant in front of it are busy playing video games on it. “Just wait a moment. I’m going killed the boss.”
“Nino?” Ohno just realized the occupant is Nino, the very guy he met in the club and in the park. ‘That’s why the voice is quite familiar, but how he opened the door?’
“Yosh!” Nino put down the controller after succeed in beating the boss. He stood up and approached the still Ohno. “How you’ve been doing? I’m sorry I got caught up with the new game that I can’t open the door personally. Thank for the technology nowadays we have remote controlled door too.”
“Oh... I see...um I brought your delivery.” Ohno held out the plastic bag with the order from the bakery.
“Ah yes, I ordered some from the bakery, I was planning to go there by myself but my friends asked me to look after the house.”
“They’re not in?” Ohno felt relieved as he is not ready to meet any of Nino’s friends just yet.
“Yum the melon bread and the curry bread smell so delicious!” Nino took the plastic bag Ohno brought and took a melon bread to bite. Ohno blinked, ‘I must be tired, I thought I saw Nino has two fangs.’
“Delicious, do you want some?”
Ohno shook his head. “No, I’m ok. I should go back to the shop.”
“Aww I want you to stay longer. Play games with me?”
“I don’t think-“Ohno tensed when Nino grabbed his hands, “Please,” he said as he looked into Ohno’s eyes earnestly. Ohno could not help but nodded awkwardly.
He ended up playing games with Nino for two hours when he looked at the wall clock, all the time he lost to Nino. “Ni-no, I think I should be going now...”
“Eh, you’re leaving?”
Ohno turned around at the different voice. A brown haired guy grinning at him, he sat at the sofa at the farther back. “When did you come in?” Ohno stuttered in surprise, dropping the game controller which gained Nino’s attention from the game.
“An hour ago, you and Nino might have deeply immersed in the game to not notice me. Hi, I’m Aiba!” The guy approached him and grabbed his hands for some eager handshakes. “Nice to meet you, Nino told us about you and I can’t wait to meet you in person.”
“Us?” Ohno glanced at Nino who has abandoned his games but looking uneasy, he glanced at anywhere other than Ohno.
“Nice to meet you too,” Ohno replied, to be polite. “I think I should leave now, thank you for the games, Nino.”
Nino didn’t reply him. “Come again, Oh-chan! We’ll be thrilling to spend the time with you again.”
“Eh?” ‘Oh-chan?’
Before Ohno nor Aiba could speak more, Ohno feel himself being drag by hand by one and only Nino to the front door. “I’ll be seeing you again, sorry for my idiotic friend.” And Nino slammed the door in his face.
Ohno is bewildered by Nino’s reaction, before this Nino is always kind to him but he just met him so he would have expected that, but somehow deep inside he feel hurt.

Nino turned to glared the grinning Aiba, “How many times I have to tell you that, we are not supposed to mentioned anything especially in front of HIM?!”
“Oopsie, I think I forgot but Nino-chan~ I can’t help it, you know how Oh-chan and I used to be right?”
“Yes you both were fools, even you are now. No, listen to me, this is quite serious! I have told you, that if any of this leaked out HE will be in danger, and remember keep your mouth shut, I don’t want to let even Jun and Sho know about this.”
“Let us know about what?”
Speaking of the devil, two other Nino’s housemates appeared before them. Jun is known for his sharp aristocratic features and pale skin. Sho in the other hand, had milky skin, his eyes showed intelligence within.
“It is none of your business,” Nino snapped at them and glared at Aiba as a warning if he ever opens his big mouth.
“Aiba?” Jun turned towards the other questioningly but Nino stopped him. “He knows nothing. This is about me, so mind your own business.” Nino glared hard at Jun, he knows Sho is a bit understanding but Jun like what he wants he gets. Jun stared into the hazel brown eyes as if to crack open the mind and find the secret but Nino did not even back down. “Fine” Jun said curtly before twirled around and paced towards the stairs to the first floor.
“Jun might be like that but he’ll never give up until he finds out what you been hiding, Nino,” said Sho after Jun left.
“Thanks, I’ll keep that in mind,” Nino said to Sho who nodded. “Come, Aiba.” Aiba shoot Nino an apologetic look before following Sho.
Nino sighed out loud, he better meet Ohno tomorrow to explain his rude action earlier.

“I’m home…woah!” Ohno was startled when he suddenly embraced in the arms of his friend just as he enters his house.
“Oh-chan, you’re back!”
“Toma? What are you doing in my house?”
Toma grinned at him, “Well, I was looking for you at your workplace but they said you were delivering your last batch so I just went here and decide to wait for you.”
“And why I may ask, you want to wait for me? And if you said you want to bring me to another club I already said I have enough of that, I don’t want being groped and molested by some random unknown people.”
“Then how about I molest you?”
“Are you an idiot?! Or you are an idiot?!”
“Just kidding, don’t take it seriously. By the way your mum make curry for dinner, let’s eat I’m hungry.”
“…This is my house.”
“Yes, of course I know that, silly.”
After a delightful dinner made by Ohno’s mom, both Toma (much to Ohno’s chargin) and Ohno retired to Ohno’s room.
“Ah, I’m so fullll!” Toma laid himself on Ohno’s bed. He looked towards Ohno who has hands on his hips glaring at Toma. “Then, why are you still here?”
“Chill out, Oh-chan. So what about tomorrow night? Wanna go karaoke?”
“Toma. Listen here. We have to hand in our final project in three weeks time, how come you have time to have fun?” Ohno took off his shirt and noticing Toma’s eyes on him so he threw the shirt on him. “Don’t watch, you perv!”
Toma laughed out loud, “Fine, fine. There I closed my eyes. Geez, we’re both men. If you’re that self-conscious, why did you take it off in the first place?”
“Because it’s dirty, you know I had been working unlike you.” Ohno sneered though he did not know if Toma’s family really well off but Toma mostly had no problem when it comes to money that he spend all the times going to club and karaoke.
“Please… it’s just karaoke. Just the two of us, I swear.”
Ohno give a long sigh, “Fine, just karaoke, no more clubs.”
“Yay! I love you Oh-chan!” Toma jumped from the bed and bear-hugged Ohno who are still half-naked making Ohno *not* accidentally kicked Toma out of his room landing flat on his face on the floor.

“Where’s Nino?”
Aiba startled out of his comfy couch by the voice belonged to Sho. The other man stood on the doorway staring at Aiba.
“Ehh? Nino? Why are you looking for him, Sho-chan? It’s not his turn to cook right?”
Sho narrowed his eyes and Aiba become flustered, he really is not good in lying and Sho is very familiar with that.
“I don’t want to do the hard way so tell me if both of you want this to be discreet from Jun,” Sho warned, his eyes somehow flashed red.
Aiba gulped, he never saw Sho like this ever since…“No……I…. fine but if Nino kill me….”
“I won’t let him kill you. Now tell me where he is?”
“He said he went to….”

“Aren’t you said that it will be only the two of us?!” Ohno crossed his arms glaring deadly at Toma. They were standing outside a karaoke booth in a karaoke store. Toma has swear that it will be the two of them but when they arrived there already two girls waiting for them and Ohno has to drag Toma out of the booth demanding an explanation.
“Don’t get you knickers in a twist, Oh-chan. The girls are just for fun! You need to get laid.”
“That’s it!” Ohno snapped. “I’m going home!”
“Wait Oh-chan!” Toma sighed as Ohno already disappeared through the entrance. “Well, I can’t let the girls waiting.” He grinned and went back to the booth.
Outside, Ohno kicked a tin can out of his way, “Stupid Toma! I know I should not trust him.”
“Getting dumped by someone?”
Ohno turned towards the familiar voice. Nino stood there watching him with amused expression.
“Ah Nino… I… no, I’m not getting dumped just that my friend is stupid.” He mumbled as he remembered Nino’s weird act towards him back at the mansion.
Nino walked towards to him, “I’m sorry for the other day. I kind of act like a bastard but it was because of Aiba. He sometimes pissed me off.”
Ohno laughed, “Not to worry, I didn’t mind it.”He lied though. “Were you going somewhere?”
Nino shook his head, “I was looking for you.”
“Oh… want to go for a drink? My karaoke night has not gone well.” He grinned sheepishly. Nino accepted the invitation somehow this make Ohno feel happy and forget about Toma.
They had a good time though, drinking and chatting about games and Ohno complained about Toma. They exited the bar, Ohno has flushed face from drinking too much but Nino did not seem affected though he drinks the same amount as Ohno.
“Want to go home?” Nino asked as Ohno looked tipsy already.
“No no the night still young,” Ohno said, giggling. Nino chuckled, “You have too much drink already. I better send you home.” Though Ohno protested but Nino just dragged him home, they took a shortcut through an alleyway which is dim-lighted when they saw a robbery incident.
The robber ran away when he saw Nino and Ohno but his victim is stabbed on the stomach. “We have got to call the police!” Ohno exclaimed trying to fish his phone out of his pocket, rushing towards the victim. “Hang in there, mister. Help is coming. Nino, can you- Nino?”
Nino stood where Ohno left him but he is acting weird he is covering his nose for some reason and looked like he is going to be sick.
“Nino, are you alright?” Ohno approached him but was shocked that Nino snapped at him rather fiercely. “Stay away from me!”
“N-nino… I just want to know if you’re alrigh-“Under the dim lighted Ohno caught something that make him froze, Nino is sporting two sharp fangs from his upper canines and his eyes are bloodshot red.
“Ni…no, you-re a…” A flutter of cloak appeared in front of his view startled him.
“Ohno-san, please look after the victim.” A figure covered with the cloak appeared before him, this guy has a milky skin but nonetheless sporting the same fangs as Nino who now cowered behind the mysterious man. “B-but…” Ohno tired to protested, but the man hold him back. The man took hold of Nino and both of them disappeared through the shadow.
Ohno just stood there staring at the spot where Nino and the mysterious man have been, only by the sound of ambulance coming that he snapped out of his trance. When he got back home that night after making sure the victim is alive and stable, Ohno laid on his bed and went to sleep with one thing sure in his mind that….vampires are real and Nino is one of them.
