play gyms
God bless play gyms for babies! Seriously! It's so hard when you have a zillion things you need or want to do but you cant get any of them done because you are caring for a newborn. Dont get me wrong... i love my baby and i love taking care of him but at some point i have to get the laundry done, the dishes washed, etc. In comes the play gym. I bought one at target. He was already fussing when i decided to put him down on the mat. all tears went away as he started enthusiastically kicking the foot pad making it light up and play music. Sweet relief! Now.... if i can pull myself away from watching him play and get the stuff done i'm supposed to be doing. :P
