i got a nudge
Ok - i got a nudge so i better post. but i've had good enough reasons to not post for 2 weeks.... here's my rundown...
The last few days in indiana i developed mastitis which is an infection in your milk glands/ducts. Yes while that might sound painful to girls... it's more than just boob pain. You get flu like symptoms minus throwing up. I had horrible chills that made it too difficult for me to even hold jack. My temp was 102.6. I had the worst migraine i had ever had. A terrible backache as well as all over aches and pains from stiffining up my body from the chills. Now add the severe boob pain that you are told to breast feed thru the pain to get rid of the infection or it will turn into an abcess. Sound fun? well it wasnt. So i go to the doc in the box in muncie and 150 bucks later (even though i go in saying i have mastitis) they tell me i have mastitis (shocker!!) and he gives me a prescription for the worst antibiotic i have ever taken. I have to take it ever 6 hours, including whatever comes around the middle of the night. I cant eat for 2-3 hours before or 1-2 after. Thats like 4-5 hours i cant eat and i have to do that 4 times a day. thats 16-20 hours a day i cant eat leaving me with 4-8 hours when i'm allowed to eat, which part of that time... a good 4 hours of, i'm sleeping. And when you're caring for a newborn you simply cant schedule when you're going to eat. It sucked.
Then i moved to my new home and have about a zillion boxes to open. and no internet so that means no posting again.
Middle of last week i finally get internet. woohoo! but taking care of a house and newborn still makes it tough to post. And then what happens friday??? I get another damn case of Mastitis!!!!! This time in both breasts. One side much worse than the other. My fever peaks at 103.6 degrees, no kidding. I just starting feeling better yesterday.
So yes.... take pity on me!
