HA HA HA HA I HAVE INTERNET AGAIN. And I've been FEASTING on the archived, two-month-old "Friends" entries for HOURS now. HA. But, I suppose I should get down to the task at hand, which is putatively to provide some information as to my activities. Ahem:
I am in Maine.
So, that's that story. Plus or minus a few cat-apartment drama-car troubles-grocery shopping-health insurance-etc domesticities, that's pretty much it. I'm working for Petroff 60+ hours a week, wherein I do all the press and paperwork for his nonprofit (www.workingvillages.org) and he provides the charismatic public speaking ability and knowledge of Maine's donkey trails. We're a good team. For example, here is an exerpt taken from one of our recent fundraising presentations:
Alex (speaking as to why introducing ox power will revitalize an agricultural region): "As you can see, these men in the picture worked very hard all day, and still couldn't till very much land. Because finally, there's not much you can do with a Hoe."
Me (sitting in the front row, trying to look professional and attentive): "HAAAAAAAAAAAAA."
As I said...a good team.
I do miss the home front though--look for me and one B when we RAID camp hamp as guess which gigantic prehistoric lizards? WE WILL STOMP THE KIDDIES.
