So this year I'm extremely happy about Valentines's Day. It actually came out of my mouth last night, "but Valentine's Day is so happy." And then I stopped myself because I realize a lot of people see it as Singles Awareness Day. Well I see it as something completely different, and I want to take back Valentine's Day. I think it really should be about love in the highest sense. Think about all of the people you love and think of a way to honor that, to them or to yourself. Even if you just feel the love you have for you dog or or a person that made you happy, just feel that feeling. Or go out and buy cheesecake (for me) for all of the people you love or send them cards. Just think of today as a day to honor love positively. If you're lonely and forlorn, think about the love (romantic and nonromantic) you'd like to have in your life.

So give the finger to commercialism and just enjoy the day. It's beautiful outside for poopsake!
