Well my last quarter at OSU started, and it's pretty much okay. I have large breaks between my classes, which I manage to utilize (sometimes) for my homework. So I'm keeping on top of things.
I work at Target now as a cashier. Lost the programming research job because the funding to my project was cut, and all the part-time student employees lost their jobs. That's life though, especially in research. Thank you, Dubya.
Wedding planning has slowed a bit, mostly because of school and work (which amount to 60+ hours per week). I haven't had time to go home since I work every weekend. I still need to take care of catering, baker, photographer, and florist. We have our time and place though: 6:00 PM August 9, 2008 at Alms Park Pavilion in Cincinnati.
I'm really excited! I'm looking forward to finally living together, this back and forth on the weekends thing is blah. There's still the Monday through Friday when I have crappy days and just wanna cuddle afterwards. I keep getting all sentimental too, heh. It's so unlike me. The other day I was thinking of when we have our first Christmas together, and what we'll do. We'll have to start making family traditions and things like that. :o
I'll be home in a couple weeks for Halloween parties and such. Already requested the weekend off, so if I don't get it, I'll be angry-faced. Actually, I'll just bug some friends to take my shifts for me. ;)
And that's pretty much life for now. Andy moved out of Joey's house, so he's been busy cleaning. Like, so much that he should shave his head and wear a white t-shirt (ala Mr. Clean). Probably in the spring, we'll start painting and any renovations we want to do, along with landscaping. We figure it'll be easier to get those things done while we're not living in the house.
