sweet. its been a while. apologies.
so camp is going better. this week has been quite a relief. my crew knows what theyre doing for the most part now and im not as stressed out.
i also found a great stress reliever... im learning how to use the pottery wheel that we fixed. im wicked excited about that. i threw a pretty nice pot tonite so im happy about that.
good news! the long island girls are coming back for two weeks starting next week. i cant wait to see them again! ps. the long island girls are awesome campers.
hmmm in other news... the wedding i went to last weekend was amazing. my mom's friend karen looked beautiful and we got to help her get ready in the morning. i'd never seen a bride so happy. the cool thing is that she's never been married before and she's 50. but she's been everywhere and done most things and one of the most loving people i've ever met. i was so glad i could be there for her on her special day.. i just hope i didnt mess up her wedding photos! (i'll be in some of them)
OH. ps. if you get a chance please pray for my cousin britney. they found the source of some leg problems of the past four months on her hip bone.. a tumor is growing. the doctors are not sure if it is malignant or not. but if it is, britney is prepared to do chemo and whatever else it takes to beat it. she is the most courageous girl i know and she is not scared of it anymore. i dont know if i'd be like that if i was in her position. she amazes me. but please pray for her as we will be finding out this week wether or not it's cancer. she's turning 18 this summer and heading into her senior year of high school. i felt such a mix of emotions when i talked to her on the phone. i was trying to think of encouraging things to say and she ended up encouraging and comforting me. strange how God likes to do things like that. but im very thankful for it.

just kidding... i just wanted to say how much i miss people from LA. alison and jill.. i love you both! and the rest of you please keep in touch... i dont care if its email, or the yahoo group site or whatever. i want to hear how youre doing and what youre doing and where you are. (congrats on your engagement, trena!)
