Hey everyone! I figured I would update now that I discovered Live Journal has an iPhone app! I hope everyone is doing well, its awesome most of you are still using your LJ accounts.
So I found out 2 weeks ago that I'm graduating early (December 2011) which requires me to take 18 credits this semester, 3 classes over the summer, and 15 credits for the Fall. This will be a busy semester but it will be all worth it. I'm so ready to graduate early and start working in my field. I'm still writing for the school paper in the entertainment section and its going really well I love it. Last weekend, my advanced tv studio production professor gave me the opportunity to work for CBS at The Uconn game at The XL Center in Hartford. I worked assistant to the producer and was back and forth communicating with the broadcasters in NYC through pre-production and the actual production. Being able to sit next the producer and director and see how a live event is done. Although producing for a sports game is not in my future it gave me such an amazing experience. Now that CBS has my name they said they will be contacting me in the future for any events they will be broadcasting in CT.
My part time job at Apple is going so so. I hate retail hours they are inconsistent and we deal with so many retail wackos. I love everyone i work with so that will make it hard to leave but I have other opportunities waiting for me. My professor is lining up a part time job at a local CT affiliate to help out for news productions which is exactly what i want to do in the future. I am so thankful for my professor and all of the opportunities he's giving me. So overall things are amazing!
For the first time in a while I can say I genuinely say I miss New Jersey for so many reasons so i guess its a good thing I'm graduating early. I'm not sure if I mentioned this in my last post but I adopted a kitten from The CT Humane Society (her name is Chloe). I was never a fan of cats until i got her. She is adorable and great. I've always
Wanted a pet and I finally got it. She's part Siamese so she's very talkative and friendly.
Well, i made this post long enough. Now that I have this app on my phone maybe i will post more often!
