It's funny how a few good talks with friends, little kids in halloween costumes, and hearing the reasurance of my sister for the second time in 2 months, can make my problems turn from a lifelong trap to concepts that will help me move foward and realize the goals i have. You know what world? I will find my way. It may not be the four yes of college and then grad school that most find satisfying and helpful, but it will lead me to where i want to be, and my moe moe gave me some good suggestions on how to get there. I want to do this, I can do this, come on bessie! you can! Lesson of the day: When your mom lets you down, look for your sister, and if she's in Germany unreachable just tell yourself all the things you know she'd tell you and wait until she gets back to a phone cuz you know then that everything will be ok. Maura~ you are amazing, you told me simple things, but they are exactly the things i need to move foward from stallmate to succeed in this whole mission we call life. I hope someday the words that come out of my mouth will be as helpful as the words that escape your mouth. This weekend... Thursday PM: practice session for the high line Friday night: Haloween party at 22! Saturday: mission to Franconia notch with the outing club crew for a large repell down a waterfall or bridge, a hike, and party at night in the woods of NH Sunday: High line through a raging river in the good 'ole Granite State. Yay for getting off campus and being surrounded by the serenity of nature and mountains and the excitement and fun people and getting scared shitless with a bum shoulder.
