YAY!
So I got my mail this afternoon and I get a couple of letters that say my poem I submitted into online poetry contests caught the attention of all the reviewers, and they want to have it published in their yearly anthologies!!! Im so excited....my work is actually going to be printed somewhere!!! I guess everyone was right about me trying to get my work published....I know I never would have done it if I hadnt been encouraged all the way.
I got my cd player today from ebay...its the SHIZNIT!!! It plays MP3s, CDs, and it has an FM radio tuner. Its cool as hell. And its nice to have a cd player where I dont have to hold the lid closed. Heh heh.
Work yesterday was blah...I felt like I was drunk I was so out of it. Kaitlin the blond ditz that works there came in for something, and I just wanted to kick her. Shes so incredibly annoying. Alison was bussing yesterday and we were joking around about how Kaitlin flaunts that shes a "country singer"...like I could give two shits even if I tried...PLEASE. Ugh...granted, shes 16, so that may have something to do with how annoying she is, but whatever. I dont have to work again until saturday..oh yay for me. Plus I work on sunday, but its only the morning shift..Ive never been scheduled the morning shift before, so itll be a nice change. I can actually come home and relax for the afternoon.
