Mother Nature is pissed.
In my 30+ years on this earth, I've never been through a storm that has lasted this long. If any of you have seen the weather channel, we are getting pounded! It went on alllllllllll night long, and it's been on since 7pm last night. I don't just mean hard rain, I mean thunder, lightning, strong winds and even some hail last night. I can sleep through rain but I cannot sleep through thunder and lightning and this stuff was LOUD, my house was shaking a few times as I just laid there in bed watching my room light up with lightning. It's been awful! And now we have to deal with the aftermath, which is the flooding. Dallas is an awful place for flooding because of all the concrete we have. They are evacuating people's houses just a few miles away from me. It's not good. I didn't get any sleep, maybe about 2 hours!! Ugh. I'm sick of it, and I really am thankful that I don't have to go out in the rain, I can stay in my home. Why is Mother Nature so pissed at us?
