I went to Grand Rapids today to go out to dinner with my Uncle Tom and Matt. It was very nice. They are two of the most important guys in my life so it was nice to spend time with both at the same time. Matt and my uncle tom get along great, they have a ton in common and talk all the time. I really like it that matt is so close to my family. They all love him and care about him a lot. It's a really good feeling for all of us.

if i could have one wish in the whole world it would be that i could keep matt at home with me. i dont want him to go anywhere. i'm not allowed to say the date that he is leaving because of security matters but it is in less then four months, we have been given the official date. 18 months is a very long time to be apart from someone you love. i know we'll make it through it though because we are both very strong together. he is my angel.

i am going to england next year. i am unbelievably excited. i can't wait! im going to be studying abroad and working in an elementary school there. i know it's going to be an awesome experience. i will be gone for a semester and im hoping it will keep me busy while matt's gone. i know i will still think about him constantly but i think it will help me to be away for a while too.

my grandpa is not doing very well. his altimerz is very bad and i know there is no correcting it. it is only going to be downhill from here on. i hope that i am able to stay strong. he has lost most of his memory, i pray for him everyday.

my sister is in Belize right now, her medical school sent her down there for a little bit to work in their hospital. i hope everything is good for her there. she has no phone or computer so we can't contact her and she can't contact us. i can only hope she made it there safely, stays safe while there, and returns safely.

Grand me the security to accept the things i can't change, courage to change the things i can and the wisdom to know the difference.
