The Ron Wood interview was hilarious.

The Arctic trip... "Clarkson you insufferable oaf!" Man, next to the American episode, that's one of the best!

Here's the Finalgear.com posting.

You have your choice of several formats, though the 700 MB download - the smallest of the three - really ought to be plenty. I burned that one to DVD and it looks great. Finalgear rocks.

Also: Clarkson's Supercar Showdown rip that just came out (which they mention on the Finalgear site, but don't directly link to) - and it's freaking brilliant!

Yeah, I found the finalgear.com link for the Arctic episode, I'm nowhere near a computer I can download it on (fucking triple T1 into the office, but the firewall crunches BT. Ain't life a bitch??)

Do you happen to have any links to torrents of 'Supercar Showdown'??

But of course!

Just went to mininova and searched "supercar showdown"

If BT itself is blocked, you can always try Opera 9.2x... unless the firewall's sophisticated enough to block any ports used for p2p, that is.

Opera is the only thing I use for torrents these days.

Meh, I just crank up the secondary box (which is the one attached to the XBox) and grab them using microtorrent.

Xbox... I still can't stand the standard controller for that thing, BUT I'm quite happy with the job they did on Forza2. Renderings of my favorite ALMS tracks came out bang-on; I'm quite impressed.

Sebring and Road Atlanta are done so nicely -- and when you're sitting in a nicely-constructed $4000 seat with proper steering, shifter, pedals, and KILLER sound (I think the speakers were B&Os), with a 60" widescreen in front of you, it's rather easy to get DEEP into the game.

I got one of the guys to let me have a full half-hour with that setup last month in Atlanta, and turned some nice laps at the Nürburgring.

It's still not killer-app enough to make me put away my PS2, but a damn nice game.

Played Manhunt2 yet?
