(no subject)
it's been nearly a month since i've updated. yeeesh! so much has happened. my life is busy busy but incredibleee. school is almost over, thank goodness! i'm slacking big time, but its almost over. im trying to hold on long enough to make it through finals! i cant wait for next semester - i've got some good classes, and i'm in a single if i get an RA position or not. [btw - i got an alternate spot, mainly bc im not officially up to a 3.0 yet!] mudville is great i guess. im working a lot more lately and im beginning to be treated fairly by the other waitresses!
i guess the biggest news would be the boy section of my life. Ian, from mudville, introduced me to his friend Nick about a week or two ago. [its a long story] We're going pretty good - spending a lot of time together. i like him a lot, and i know he feels the same. so im all gushy and glowing with puppy love. but i dont mind it in the least. through ian, ive made some new friends too. like his wife, Mary, and their married friends Ricky and Donna.
I've noticed since I went to that 'party' to meet Ian's friends, I've become a lot stronger of a person. I'm more confident in things I do and say. I'm not afraid to do things alone, i'm loving my personal appearence a lot more, and I say what I feel, unafraid of how someone might react. i'm loving it.
this weekend is going to be super busy. i work tonight, till late unless we're slow for some odd reason. i'm rehearsing with this band that plays at mudville tomorrow 12-2; they asked me to sing a song or two with them. im nervous; they've never heard me sing, just that I've performed several places before [which is dumb, bc its like my school?] but we'll see how it goes. then my family is coming over to say goodbye to daniel at 400 and i have to work at 500. i think im going to try and get it covered though; id like to be here for the party. we'll see. sundays easter and we're closed! woohoo! im hoping i get to see nick a little this weekend too. we've spoiled each other by hanging out a lot. oh welll.
im running out of things to write about. and i have to work in one hour. boooo. bye for now*
