The first week of school
has been exhausting. seriously, i have no idea why i am so tired, but i feel as though i could fall asleep at any moment. Maybe this is what Meredith went through last semester :p I have a pretty good schedule, so i'm excited about that. I have anthropology at 12:20 to 1:10 on Mondays, Weds, and Fridays. Then I have business at 5:05 pm to 6:20 on Mondays and Wednesdays (yippee, no business class on fridays!!!!!) On Tuesdays and Thursdays, i have SCOM 245 at 11am and then GWRIT at 12:30. I'm excited about GWRIT because its a class that i have with holly and meredith, so that should be fun. Although it really sucks that Mariana isn't in our class :*( All of my classes, especially business and my communications class, seem like they're going to be really really hard. I'm sort of worried about them, but hopefully if I work hard i can pull off decent grades. I already have a buttload of work. *sigh*
It's been a little weird getting used to college again. I'm not exactly homesick (although i'm definitely Greg sick!), but every once in a while i catch myself thinking, "man i wish i was home right now." i dont really know whats up with that, but i guess it'll go away in a couple days as i get back into the swing of things. However, i do miss a lot of things about home- i miss driving around places instead of walking, i miss gingerbread lattes at starbucks, i miss hanging out with jenae and driving around in her cool car, i miss sleeping in till noon everyday and just relaxing, and i definitely miss greg. But its only about 3 months until the end of the semester (weird, huh?) and then i'm going to be home for the whole summer. Speaking of summer, I'm planning on taking a couple classes this summer, probably at NOVA, because i'm only taking four classes this semester and i only took four classes fall semester. But it should be a good summer, definitely something that i can look forward too when i'm stressing about school. And, the great thing about next year is that we will have our own apartment! i'm so psyched about that, it's not even funny. And i'll have a car with me, so i'll be able to come home whenever i want, and it'll definitely be soo much easier to get to VCU. Plus, with the apartment, i get my own room, which will be really nice. Just to have that kind of privacy again. Even though i have the best roommate (seriously, how did i get so lucky?) it'll be nice to have a place to go to thats completely my own. And we'll have a kitchen, so we can cook our own food. YAY! hehe can you tell that i'm excited about it?
Anyways its time to get back to the homework/reading. And then definitely bed. cuz i'm tired.
