Bikram morning again.
As soon as i got home i had a couple pieces of pita and cucumber hummus
And coffee
Right now about to enjoy my last frozen yogurt for awhile.
When i got to the frozen yogurt shop i encountered a mother who is a nurse from my area. Her children were all over the place and she was very strict on what they should get. She was a skinny mother encouraging her children one type of candy and the rest fruit. Her portion size was small with some fruit.
She was telling me about how her mother implemented healthy eating before it became a big deal.
Here I am with a medium sized froyo that is filled to the top with fruit and other stuff
And she says that I'm tiny and dont have anything to worry about.
She was semi friendly when we parted. She just left the shop when she was done paying without saying goodbye and when i walked out I casually said "lovely to meet you have a nice day!"
It really influenced me somewhat.
Makes me think about how much our parents influence us in our upbringing.
My parents were over-eaters, we had big portion sizes, and had multiple toppings on everything. Thats why i was a fat child.
My parents are binge eaters.
And I'm really trying to stay away from that.
I indulge every now and then but would rather do it with friends maybe sometimes.
I really need to lose this weight. I want to be skinny again. One of the reasons why I'm not traveling to visit family anymore this month.
But i have to go up to slo next weekend, my friend is getting married. I want to go up the day of so I just go to the wedding.
I have no idea what treats she'll have there.
From now on, I'm only going to be having breakfast and then 0 cal beverages & water.
