It amazes me how some people have survived this far through college living away from their parents. So I may be a bit OCD, but it seems reasonable to me to take certain measures to make life easier or at least make the place we have to stay for the rest of the school year a bit more liveable. Since Emily and I went on our cleaning spree on Sunday (yes, just four days ago) I have re-tidied the living room twice, and the kitchen area once. This is not because I'm OCD, it's because there has been shit lying around everywhere in a space everyone shares and dishes with food caked on them sitting in the sink. I also pointed out to everyone that closing the shower curtain keeps mold from growing in there cause I don't know about anyone else, but cleaning up mold isn't really my cup of tea. Yet I go in there at least once a day to the curtain open. Does it make sense? I don't understand what is so hard about some of these concepts... And I understand we live the college life and sometimes cleaning isn't on the top of everyone's list of things to do, but everyone's got other shit to do, and someone is going to have to clean eventually. It's getting harder to be a considerate roommate when others aren't. And I feel badly saying something... but I'm starting to forget why. End of rant.
