I'm going to come out and say it
I got drunk
Spontaniously..Thursday night was the last night before we all went home for the summer and my friends bought stuff and I didn't know I was going to drink but I just kinda decided hey...why not tonight...so my parents had been up to bring some of my stuff home and they left around 8 and then I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror and relaxed myself...
I have a fear of puking..I honestly think I have the phobia....so I believe this is where my nervousness comes from drinking..the fact that people throw up because of it..even though they might have to drink a lot...my brain associates it with puking...so this is where my nervousness stemmed...
so after calming myself down and talking to Gabe and Nick on IM I just did it..I decided to start with the Green Apple Boones Farm..it's like a wine I guess...so kim grabbed one flavor, katie grabbed another, and I grabbed the apple kinda and we toasted the bottles and drank a sip....I was like whoa..lol...I could taste the alcohol...lol...it wasn't bad until my other sips really...it was like remembering every time I soaked my earrings in rubbing alcohol..that's all I could think of...but it was still kinda yummy besides that strong odor/taste....so I drank very very slow..carbonation and I don't do very well so it was hard..I had to go upstairs and say c ya later to jamie because she was leaving for home....and it was hard...but I did it and went back down and after about 12 sips of the Boones lol I really wanted something else...so I went to Buzz and put a Mikes hard lemonade in the fridge...we then ordered pizza at 8:45ish...oh it was Kim, Katie, Me, Buzz, Mike, Scott, Nick....good group...but anywho we ordered pizza and I was nervous because I was hungry and I knew drinking on an empty stomach was bad..so I waited until the pizza came and then got my mike's which buzz wrapped in a towel and told me to put down my pants...which was incredibly obvious lol...
so I was still nervous and scared with the whole situation...not feeling it and uncomfortable..and then something hit me and I was like ok I'm just going to drink this and I'll feel better..so I drank the mike's hard lemonade..and after a while I don't remember it tasting bad..it was all gooooooooooooooooood stuff...and then I got happy..and comfortable...and laughed a lot..I tried a sip of captain morgans and coke but I didn't like it... my friend kim is a really really really really really annoying drunk and I think she is a million times better of a person when sober..she's too hyper when drunk...too all over me and too crazy and weird...that uncomfortable weird..where no one looks at her because they don't really know what to say with the actions she's doing...lol....but anyways...I had been talking to Scott but he went to go to the bathroom..and I also spilled my heart out to nick on IM lol and becca....then I started the drunk dialing...which by the end of the night ended up to be 14 phone calls..lol
so scott went to the bathroom and I was on the phone with becca so I decided to go the room and find scott...so I walked down the hall and I knocked on the first bathroom door which I thought he would be in..and I knocked on it and said "SCOTTY DON'T BREAK THE SEAAALLLL" and started laughing to becca on the phone..I don't know what I was talking about..but then a girl came out...and it wasn't scotty...and I laughed and it was one of the girls who lives across the hall from me and they hate us and always get us in trouble...so I went down to scotty's room and he was in there getting more stuff with buzz and so I laughed and went in there and then he came out and we went back to my room down the hall but as I'm laughing hysterically scott puts his hand on my back and says public safety is behind us and I turn around and sure enough the public safety guy is walking towards us..so of course I'm like instant calm...lol and we go in the room and tell everyone and they start hiding everything and public safety knocks on the door and we're still hiding stuff and someone turned the music off and I was like what the hell that's so obvious so I turned it back on (it was ohio is for lovers, hawthorne heights lol)...and they told me to shut it off so I did and then he knocked again and we were all like frozen and then scott went out in the hall and closed the door behind him because he heard that you have rights and you can do that..so the public safety guy said there were complaints about us being loud and he asked scott his name and scott told him and he asked scott if I had been drinking and he said he didn't think so and then he asked my name and he just said amanda, and then he said that if he has to come down again we all get a 200 dollar fine...so then scott came back in and told us..and we all moved to the third floor north in mike's room...
on the way up there scott had a fleece on with the collar popped and I told him he looked cute like that..haha..and he was like thanks....upstairs was fun...except I didn't really know people up there but katie was very good about taking care of me...so I was happy by then..and katie and I just sat at the desk chillin and then scotty sat on my lap and then my leg went numb so I sat on his, but it was hard to keep my balance..so we sat on the bed next to kaite and mike..and I had been trying other drinks around like twisted tea..first I tried the half hard lemonade half hard iced tea...and it was so bitter like cough syrup taste I just didn't like it..but I kept drinking..and this whole time I saved my mikes hard lemonade..for a chaser haha..'cause I loved that stuff...and then I tried some twisted tea raspberry which was better and some peach twisted tea which was gross....but I didn't try beer because it smells gross enough..ewwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww....
sooo I kept calling mike..MIKE JONES BITCH...and we were all doing dance moves..like the shovel, the q-tip, the shopping cart, the sprinkler...haha..it was fun...I got really hot in the beginning and katie and me and scott went outside in the rain so I could feel better..it just made me look like a drowned rat...at one point I got VERY hungry and told katie I wanted to go get pizza...so we went to get pizza back in my room and I had a piece in each hand lol..and was eating both..in the elevator I sat down and ate..and another time we went down to get kim and she came back up with us..and another time we met someone in the elevator that was also drunk...and another time...I almost fell down the stairs 'cause scott and katie were carrying me and....and then we were talking to michelle and chris and they were drunk and I told Chris I thought he was cool and I fell backwards in front of him...like I remember it all but it's so jumbled...I kept denying I was drunk but everyone told me I was...I think I was just tipsy..I wasn't slurring my words or anything..and I was walking ok....we were out in the hallway once and the RA came by and told us to get into the room..we didn't even get in trouble..she just made us go in the room lol...crazy....there were like 7 or 8 people in the room at a time lol...more than that sometimes...it was interesting...
by the end of the night 2-3ish Scotty and I were getting very comfortable and stuff..we were cuddling and touching hands..you know all that first stuff hehe....ummmm yeah so in the midst of all this I called a lot of people..including dustin..I called him and was like hey..and he's like hey what are you doing..and I'm like trying to hold back a laugh and saying nothing..and then he's like are you drunk..and I'm like...yeah..and he's didn't say much..just told me to be careful..I told him I cared about him and I wanted to be friends..'cause that's what he has been saying...and he was like I don't know if I can be friends with you so it kinda pissed me off..and he said he had to go and call me back but he didn't so I called him back...but yeah...then I went inside and hung out more..until it was time to sleep at like 3ish...and I was really nervous to sleep with scotty..(just sleep next to him)...because I didn't want to lead him on when I'm still not ready for a relationship..but I went to get the keys to our room in katie's bag and fell over..it was weird..it was like the floor went away..lol...so then katie was like oook I'm coming with you..so we went to the room and got our stuff and changed, got water, pillow...and went back to the room...so when we went back in the lights were on and people were in there again lol..so I waslike whoa...so then they left and I sat on the bed next to scott..and katie layed with mike...Old School was in the DVD player and we watched that..but I was getting nervous again and scared about the hangover...lol..so I finally layed down after a whie....and scott put his arms around me..and we spooned...it was cute..he's a good cuddler..he was like rubbing my hands and it felt so good..I think it was a mixture of being drunk and liking him and not being in that situation for a while lol...but he kept like squeezing me and my hand it was soooooooooo cute...and he asked if he was crowding me and I said no...my body was extremely on edge...like shaking..I don't know what that means..but my legs and body was all jumpy and I couldn't calm them down..it's like I was shivering but I wasn't cold and I couldn't stop it...but I was just scared I wouldn't feel well so I kept moving around and drinking water....and I had to get up to pee once and the hallway was like a bijillion miles long lol...and it was so weird walking down it....so I couldn't go to sleep no matter how hard I tried lol...but katie and mike kept making out and it was awkward...but scott was pretty much sleeping anyways..and the movie was finally over and he shut it off and I tried to sleep but then katie was snoring and scott didn't like that too much...finally sometime I went to sleep...
....and when I woke up at like 10am!!! lol I didn't feel that awesome..I mean I didn't feel horrible but it wasn't good..I felt like I had 50 old cheeseburgers to eat..like it didn't feel like hurting stomach just gross stomach...and my eyes felt all big and tired and my head kinda felt weird..lol...I just felt weird....so then we had to get up and get packed to go home which was sad...I did not want to do anything...but the girls across the hall got dunkin donuts and picked some up for me and I had some of it...but katie was doing fine and I didn't want to do anything..my voice had gone all scratchy and my nose had been stuffy all night..I found out later that kim had drank so much she woke up puking...and scotty had a headache lol...lots of people asked how I felt...even dustin texted me asked...and I told him my everything hurt...I also apologised to everyone I drunk called lol..
it was quite interesting...and fun..but different...I would like to do it again..but I believe that I am capable of having more fun without drinking than with it..of course this was only my first time...we'll see how the summer goes...
