"Date" last night...
So I was invited over to Wayne's for a July 3rd party and I thought .. hmmm.. I'll ask Matt if he wants to go. I could tell he was 'interested' in me a bit. Why not see how this goes.
Pros:
Nice guy
Strong Christian
Pro/Con:
We know all the same people.
Con:
Lives with his parents
Either doesn't drive or doesn't have a car (asked me to come get in.. in Kingwood before driving to Conroe)
Is out of a job
He had no problem at all talking to everyone that was at the party. But as much as he acted and appeared to be paying attention.. he wasn't listening. All night long people would be talking and just after they'd finished a 'story' he'd ask a question for which the answer was just spoken in that story. Taking the tour.. Wayne told about where the doors were from and how they'd purchased them. ((Just five of us standing there.. this is the only convo of those three to five minutes)) Matt is nodding.. acting interested and as soon as Wayne finished Matt asked if Wayne could tell us about the doors.
Maybe I'm a Chandler..but that bugs the heck out of me. I had to repeat myself or repeat for others all night long. Not a hearing problem...attention. I skipped going to lunch today... I do know that if I am asked out by him...one way is to say ..."I'll meet you there"
