Wahoo, this (school)week is finally over. The only thing left for the semester is finals. And even they won't be as bad as this week because I got lucky and they're spread out perfectly.
The week started off like crap because I sucked and didn't study as much as I should for my first test because it was Thanksgiving. The first test was open book but it still probably kicked my ass (probably got a C). I got the test and basically had like a minor panic attack and had to leave for a few minutes and compose myself. I've had it happen before in high school. The good news is I can take a couple minutes and work through it on my own which I couldn't do in high school. Bad news is it still happened.
Then I took my accounting test. I just barely finished. She makes the tests too complicated to do in the time frame she gives and doesn't understand why its not enough time because she can do it quick. It wasn't that difficult though.
Tuesday and Today I had tests that were pretty easy.
Also tonight was the end of the group work that has bothered me so much. Which is great. Actually talking to the people in my group they are really cool people. The rest of the class is kind of annoying. I forgot how easy it was getting along with them when there is no work to do. They just had different ideas than me about how work should be done. But must people do so I shouldn't have been so angry about things during the course.
Anyway all groups presented tonight. The other groups sucked because their presentations were so damn long. I almost fell asleep. All presentations were basically on the same thing, a six page paper we wrote about toy company websites. There was a fifteen minute limit and the first five fucking groups all ran over their limit and they didn't get cut off. It sucked. Our group went sixth and went 8 minutes and the seventh group was the best presentation and went about the same length as ours. People just don't get how to give good presentations apparently. All presentations should be given by a couple people, not six or seven or whatever. It sucks a lot and it makes people bad at public speaking talk. I'm pretty sure this one guy was a minute away from passing out. He was that red. Also presentations shouldn't be splitting your paper into chunks and reading it verbatim. Just hit the highlights. And every group but ours and the seventh missed the point of the presentation in my opinion. But that's boring and I don't need to go over it.
Hopefully something interesting is happening this weekend.
