[As Rassilon awakens he feels a strange mix of being well rested and yet tired -- most certainly, he must have slept a while, but his body aches as if he hadn't at all. Or perhaps too long? He rarely does so, sleeping until he is tired again, but perhaps today is one of these rare occasions

[You know how Roadrunner arrives? Well, Omega does a passable imitation when he realises that Rassilon's awake. He could jump for joy, but right now he's a coil of anticipation. He's forgotten to actually speak.]

[Rassilon blinks and stops the stretching he'd begun in the meantime. What?] Is something the matter?

[rass_bestie]

[Omega smiles softly.] You're awake.

[shortsghtedlove]

[He shrugs.] Of course. Did I miss something?

[rass_bestie]

It's the twenty eighth. We got here from Paris, you fell asleep and you didn't wake up.

[shortsghtedlove]

[He blinks again. Then:] What?! How dare the admiral...!

[rass_bestie]

[Omega is uncomfortable. He could care less about the Admiral, but Omega missed him and now he's angry?] I... missed you.

[shortsghtedlove]

[Rassilon does have a tendency to be angry rather frequently. But at Omega's words he sits up and holds his arms out.]

[rass_bestie]

[Omega answers the invitation gratefully, holding him tight.]

[shortsghtedlove]

[Rassilon leans his head against his shoulder.] Have you slept enough?

[rass_bestie]

Yes. [Well, he hadn't slept at all, but you know, still a Time Lord.]

[shortsghtedlove]

[Rassilon raises a brow but leaves it. When he had been in Omega's place, he would have preferred if there hadn't been a fuss about his lack of sleep.]

[rass_bestie]

Everybody seemed to be leaving.

[shortsghtedlove]

I won't leave you. I promised, didn't I? Even if the Admiral threw me off the ship, I'd find a way back to you.

[rass_bestie]

It was still frightening. Being held in limbo... I could just go find you if you left. But you were there but you weren't.

[shortsghtedlove]

I'd still have woken up, sooner or later. [He kisses Omega on the cheek.] I am awake now, aren't I? Not even the Admiral would be foolish enough to try and keep us apart.
