I love technology!
When it works, it's amazing. While goofing off this afternoon, I rediscovered the most amazing website. MyPublisher allows you to upload digital photos into a predesigned template, fuss around with it, and then sent it off for professional printing. I'm so excited!
I was looking for this site so I could make some albums for the wedding. I'm not quite ready to sit down and dedicate myself to scrapbooking, but I wanted some photos in my hot little hands. The parents are thinking about buying me the CD of high resolution images from the photographer. I told them I could make some neat albums for the family members and print out some big photos (for much cheaper than the photographer is charging us). I wanted to show them a way we could put those photos to good use.
So I was playing around with the program and put some Festival photos in the design. Roze and Marilyn are so excited about it that we're going to make albums for each of the Festival's productions. It's one thing to have the composite page that our photographer gives us, but these will be nice, compact, larger individual photos, and easier to carry around the entire history of the Festival at a glance. They're going to come in handy when I set up my display tables at events.
Yay!
Now if Mom would buy me that CD (or go halfsies!), it'd be perfect.
