4. Make a list of excuses you've made to get out of a date.

-I have a sick/injured relative.
-Pet died.
-I'm sick or injured myself.
-Police business.
-Emergency museum meeting.
-Too much work-
-Didn't make an excuse, just bolted when they weren't there and tried to come up with something later. (Sorry, Clancy.)
-The real reason, which was usually that there was an emergency and I needed to go be a hero.

5. Make a list of people who you like to confide in.
