Shortpacked!:
Finally, all that time spent working in the Warner Bros Studio Store gallery pays off.
Woof! Ron and Graham came over and we did some major packing for our move this weekend. Nearly everything is in boxes and our apartment is impossible to navigate. Soon I will go nuts from claustrophobia.
It also means my little photo studio is sort of buried behind a stack of things, and there's not much room for it to be all deployed anyway. So back to photos taken of toys on our coffee table.
Man, and this particular entry suffers for it. I'm trying to hightlight the differences between my new silver "Deep Space"
Starscream and the regular ol' beige Starscream in some very yellow light. Failure! Nothing but failure! I may have to try this again once I get all settled.
Long story short. Deep Space Starscream, a Target exclusive, has crazy number of paint applications. Most of him is covered in a silvery sheen of paint, and there's extra paint details covering him versus the original, including fighter jet markings on his wings. Of course, now that he's movie-accurate, he's, well, entirely silver and light gray, which is marginally more boring than the original beige and dark brown. But hey, at least he's shiny and has buttloads of paint.
I believe this is the last toy from the first Transformers movie I plan on buying. Phew! And just in time for Movie 2 news to start gearing up. Here's to the never-ending journey.
