John Woo would be proud.
So, like, probably a year ago I was all "Hey, I got a Professor X toy and a movie Mr. Fantastic toy! Guess what I'm making!" And then I hit some snags and then I never got around to mentioning it 'cuz I never finished it. Well, my pal Ron finished it.
I have a Jon Stewart figure! Hahahaha. Seriously, that Mr. Fantastic head is a dead ringer. And, hey, Professor X is in a suit and tie, so... I thought I'd swap heads. Of course, this wasn't easy, because the parts turned out to not be compatible, so I had a few decapitated figures for a while. But Ron managed to get it to work all MacGuyver style, so.
Sadly, the toy is a scale 6 feet tall, so he can't really be stood with other 6"-scale figures, 'cuz Jon Stewart is my height. That is, 5'7". He's short! So here I stand him next to Destro, who on the Sigma Six cartoon looks like he's 8 feet tall. There we go.
We found the new Classics Mini-Cons tonight, also thanks to Ron. These things are really, really weird.
Also, check out the new Sheldon collection,
The Good, the Bad, and the Pugly. The first collection is one of my most prized worldly possessions, so this new book should be fantastic. Dave Kellett draws things that make me giggle. I don't know how he does it.
