I think after this semester, I will be a sex expert, speak Spanish, and be in good shape. Weird combination huh? ;)
I'm really happy with my first day of classes!
First period is Human Sexuality...aka the sex class. I almost died the minute I walked in there. It was FULL and I'm the youngest girl in there...all the other women are 25+. Besides them it pretty much consists of Walter States golf team, a random old man, and a Baptist minister. I proceeded to make friends with the youngest looking girl in there, who was 29. We decided to be partners in everything, so I don't get stuck with some perverts lol. Ms. Shoemaker is awesome. She's full of energy and is probably one of the most respectful teachers i've had yet. She went on to tell us that she has a box of "toys" she will have to teach us about... Its a really really open class, and I'm not sure how I feel about that right now. Its a good vibe though. I couldn't stop laughing through class. And I love to laugh. The other good thing about this class is that this is her first time teaching it, so we're her guinea pigs. woot. :) i'm excited
2nd period is math...what can I say? Math sucks. Atleast my teacher is more animated! Shes not mono tone, and I think i'll be able to listen to her better. I got the highest quiz grade out of my side of the class, so they made me feel a little bit better. I just need to stay focused! Lacy is in class with me too, and its always good to have people you know in class... oh ya This is my second time taking this class... :(
3rd period is the neatest class i've had. Its Spanish but its live. Luckily Morristown WS students get the teacher in the class room. I love this teacher. She's so young and happy. But anyhoot... Theres this plastic thing in the front of the room that picks up sounds. Theres 4 other classrooms on different campuses(sp) who can see us, and we can see them. We can hear each other and communicate. Its all based on a wide screen divided into 4 small screens so we can watch the other students. I really hope I do learn Spanish.
And that was my exciting day.. lol I know it'll go downhill though because I will have alot of HW assignments. BUT I think I can balance the whole work, boyfriend, and driving time. I can and will do it.
