Some ass whippin' got served up yesterday

I would like to preface this by saying that it's just not a good idea to talk trash to Tristan in the context of any video game, but especially Smash.

So last night I was hanging out with the usual suspects (Trae, Tristan, Jabari, Ahbleza) when Jabari informed us that there was someone on campus who thought he could beat down Tristan in Smash and was apparently on the way over to Guilford after he got off of work. As soon as the words came out of his mouth, Tristan got that "I'm gonna beat that ass" twinkle in his eye and it was on. We played a few games until the guy finally showed up with a friend and Jabari and Ahbleza immediately forfeited their controllers so that the asswhipping could commence. In the epic battle, Tristan and I went top tier and laid a beatdown on them the likes of which may never be seen again on the Guilford campus. The guy then dug himself a deeper hole by challenging Tristan to a 1v1 in which he almost got 4 stocked. May it be known that it was an ass beating for the ages. To his credit though, despite being thoroughly slapped down he was a really cool guy and I'd gladly hang out with him again. His only real transgression of the entire night was the trash talking, but after we got done with him there was certainly no more of that.

The moral of this extremely pointless post is this: there are certain games you shouldn't talk trash to certain people in. For me it's Halo. For Tristan it's Smash and DoA. Also, Tristan and I are unbeaten in Smash 2v2 so challenging us will result in getting chain slapped. You have been warned.
