Best trip ever

I don't really know how to post about my Italy trip other than to say that it was amazing. There are so many wonderful things that we did and saw and so many great things that happened. In some ways I feel like I don't want to write them all down in specific because it seems to make them lose some feeling on the whole. I can't really explain it, it's a new feeling and I like it. I'll simply leave it at that Rome is great, but Florence is better and the best things to see in Northern Italy are not in the major cities. And also that the moments I will remember most from the trip have nothing to do with places or things and have everything to do with people and emotions. I don't know why I feel like I need to keep this all in. I almost feel like if I share too much of it I will lose it somehow. Strange.

Anyway, now that I am home I have kicked wedding related things into high gear, so very much to do. Four and a half months left.
Currently working on:

-Finishing customizing of invite and wording so they can be ordered. (For anyone I talked to about the invites, the new ones look nothing like what we were originally thinking about.)

-Making final Honeymoon transportation arrangements.

-Working on play/do not play lists so we can meet with the guy from the band.(If anyone has any suggestions for either list, please let me know)Also, figuring out all the music for all the special stuff during the reception

-Still trying to plan a time to do our free engagement shoot with our photographer.

-Planning the music and readings for the ceremony.

-starting to plan rehearsal dinner.

There is a ton more I have to do, but these are my main focuses right now.

On top of all of this Lou and I are meeting with the lawyer next week to go over our mortgage paperwork and set our closing date on the house. By mid-October I will be a homeowner.

So much on my mind. Whose idea was this giant crazy wedding and buying a house 3 months before it anyway?!?!?!
