Okay, so tomorrow is the 25th, the fateful day when I find out whether or not I'm going to Guatemala in January. Last I heard, there were 15 spots and 18 applicants, only 3 people over, so Dr. Bridge was going to try and negotiate with the organization so there was a chance we might all get to go!! Cross your fingers and pray guys. I really, really, really, REALLY want to go! Plus, I'm not sure how well Dr. Bridge thinks of me ever since I accidentally put the horns on backwards on my Altar of Incense. Oops. So I'm excited. Very apprehensive since I don't know if people are being cut or not, but still excited. An apprehensive excited. I like that word, apprehensive. It pretty much describes my mood right now. Well, not much else to talk about. Oh, yeah...I found out the other day that Social Work peoples don't start their internships until senior year, not second semester junior year like I thought! It's so frustrating. How are social workers any different from nurses or teachers? We need just as much experience in the field. I'm sick of volunteering here and there, I want to be a part of the whole scene, you know? No, I take that back, I'll never be sick of volunteering, I'm just ready for a taste of something more, you know? Grrr. Well, I'm gonna go do something productive now. Catch y'all lata!
