Adult franchise (FB 7th Mar 2016)
Let me put it this way: I believe in idealism (over a pragmatic compromise). I believe that a fresh approach deserves a chance. I believe that a shift in values can occur if we start from a radical origin point. I believe that we will do ourselves a disservice if we touch our hearts, know something to be true and worthy, but don't give it a voice and a vote out of fear of defeat. The whole concept of democratic franchise is about hope and idealism anyway. On the Ides of March, I am proud to finally cast my first ever vote anywhere.
