James Brown is dead. Respect and admiration for one of the great innovators and artists of the American 20th century. James Brown and The Famous Flames are second only to the Beatles as the greatest band of the 60s. He wasn't a unique and masterful soul-singer who transcended the genre he epitomized only to reinvent it (as Funk, which we can all praise and amen for), because he still is those things. Keep the music living and breathing.
