One other note I thought I should say, is that I wasn't doing these in any sort of order either by the prompt words, or by the fact that one of the first five is back when Bart was a little kid, way before the game, and then some of these are durring the game or after... not sure if anyone even knows enough about it to notice that, but I thought I should say that anyway if anyone does know it enough.
I
“Your human alphabet is to confusing.” Growling this Artea glanced up at Tia as she came into their little house. “The idea of written language is just so pointless anyway I don’t understand why someone would take the time to come up with it when they could just tell a story faster.”
Circling around to where he was sitting she leaned over his shoulder, looking over the book that he was trying to learn from. “How far into the alphabet are you?”
“This one.” Pointing at the letter I and a hint of a glare crossing his normally calm face. “What’s worse is it makes no sense what these letters are called, it looks nothing like an eye, the one six past should be eye.”
Marriage
“So you told Jessie that you wanted to get married, just not to her?” Repeating this back to his friend Artea sighed just a little as Guy shook his head quickly.
“That’s not it at all what happened, did you even listen to the story?” The blond looked now to Tea who’s glare he didn’t quite notice yet. “You understand what I meant right?”
“Oh I understand alright, to the point that I understand why she kicked you out, and to the point that you better go look to Dekar for help because you’re sure not going to be sleeping on our floor.”
“I actually did go to Dekar first…” Saying this with a slight laugh. “So I’m on my way to see Lexis then?”
Forever
“You know I want to run away with you Bart, and I think that it would be so much fun to travel the world with you, and share in all that treasure, and do all those things that you told me about…” Trailing off the girl’s gaze fluttered down as she looked away from the young man who was watching her.
“But?”
“But… will you ask me to marry you?”
“Of course!” Grabbing up her hand as he answered the blond smiled brightly. “As soon as I can find the perfect ring for you, I’ll ask you.”
“And will you love me?”
“I already love you, you know that.”
“And will we be together forever?”
“…forever? You know Leefa, forever is a very long time.”
Anniversary
“I know you said that you didn’t want to talk about it…” Pausing Tia looked over her husband for a moment before slowly going on. “But if you did-”
“Humans area always curious about things that don’t have to do with them.” Saying this more sharply then he had intended and quickly looking up to her in apology, but then back to the pond he was sitting next to. “It’s been three years today, since Amon first came to the village. Since Karyn was taken.”
Opening her mouth to question about the woman who had been killed, to have brought Artea into the war, but thinking better of it after a moment. Being reminded, now more then ever, how much she was not an elf.
Mid-Life Crisis
“You try and reason with that suicidal idiot! I’m done with him.”
Looking up a little shocked at the words as the woman shuffled past him, Bart reluctantly moved into the house where she had come out of. “I think you might- oh god. Dad you aren’t planning another one of these ‘stealing from inside a castle’ things are you?”
“You right well know it.”
Sighing softly the blond walked over to the older man, looking over the castle plans his father had somehow stolen. “This mid-life crisis thing is starting to get a little out of hand. I know you’re a great thief, but really a crown? Can’t you just sleep with as many woman as you can like everyone else your age does?”
