Weekendy Fabulosity
To recap...
Friday: waited for Chicago friends to call back, never did, so E and I ended up spending the night snuggling on the couch and watching Firefly. Quite satisfying and lovely.
Saturday: slept in, watched more Firefly, phoenix_snake arrived safely, then KP came over to dye my tips black for Sabbat... while I was finishing up showering, smed and thegman169 came over, bringing the tastiest hummus EVER. hmmm.. Yum. Chicago friends arrived, ABM and Fox made an appearance and made off with half of my fiance's movies:) There was lots of Wii and chatter and happiness. I love making new friends! Yes I'm a dork, but I'm ok with that. I love that smed is on gmail all the time. She's fabulous and I'm so glad I got introduced to her. Plus I think E and thegman169 will have much video-gaming fun together. Thanks ABM and Fox! Chicago friends left around 1am... A good time was had by all, at least, I assume so:)
Sunday: Slept in again (God i love weekends) got up, tokudama and I ran some errands to prep for Sabbat. I found a nifty green carabiner in the shape of a star at Hot Topic. Went home, met up with phoenix_snake and Fox and the preparation began! Fake eyelashes are a hassle, but well worth it (at least until they fall off). M is delicious and very fun to watch flog someone, and K has awesome boots. There was, alas, no dancing, but lots of flogging, and someone even got tied up and swung. It looked really frickin' fun. We had to sign papers again at the door, but it was well worth it. I got fairydust sprinkled on me and met some other very nice people. Came home at a decent hour, unsuccessfully tried ordering food. Took a run to Woodmans with Phoenix and then ate lots of tasty goodness when we got home.
Monday: SLEPT IN! (hooray days off after Sabbat!) It was fabulous. We all sat around and watched tv. Then I had my surgery checkup. Everything is a-ok and I got the go-ahead to exercise again and all that snazzy stuff, so I'm excited. Came home and brought dinner for all of us, watched more Firefly, E left for his great-grandpa's funeral, and Phoenix stayed until around 9, leaving only after earning the rank of BEST HOUSEGUEST EVER. She picked up after herself, cleaned up our dressing room (which had spread from the kitchen, dining room, and into the living room) and DID DISHES. I'm keeping her. Thank you again my dear, you are truly amazing. It was so sweet of her to care about not leaving my house in complete disarray. I appreciate it so much.
Ok, I think that's enough for now. Needless to say, I enjoyed my weekend thoroughly and I'm so lucky to know so many wonderful people:) Hooray!
