Happy Mother's Day....
Well, its mothers day, the one day we all put aside to pamper and spoil our moms, aka what they do to us every other day of teh year. :o)
This year I didn't go to elaborate on my mom's gift, but it was sorta creative. I blew up two pictures and framed them, one of me with Goofy from when I was 4 years old and the other was one with goofy from a few months ago. Kinda the "Before and Now" type thing. I thought it was cute. I gave my gift to my mom after church this morning and I was COMPLETELY surprised about my mom's reaction. Even as my mom read the card her eyes started tearing up. I didn't write much in the card basically the good old I love you and I dont know how i'll survive college without you. But my mom started balling once she saw the pictures. And my mom is kinda like me in the fact that usually I don't get really emotional about too many things. I've never really seen my mom cry all that much only a few times so of course her crying made me cry, haha. It was one big happy crying and hugging fest. I'm kinda glad my gift had that impact on her because it will be the last Mother's day that I am "at home", so I'm glad I made it memorable. Other than that I STILL have to get my Pre-Calc studying done.
yesterday....
Well yesterday was pretty cool, nothing out of the ordinary. Went to the concert at Verot and surprisingly it was REALLY good. I never realized how much talent some of the kids in our school had. I was really impressed with Ben Homola's band, despitethe fact they were missing their singer they were incredible. If they ever put out a CD I seriously want to get it.And I guess a note to sheena, i definitley agree with ya! haha
Well hopefully everyone has/had a good mother's day!!!! I'll be at Barnes & Noble today studying for Pre-Calc after I go take a nap, so I figure after 3:30ish. I'll see ya!!!!!!
