A Little Appreciation
SO, here's the good news: I GOT INTO COLLEGE!!!! EAST CAROLINA UNIVERSITY!!!! wooohhoooo!!! i'm so excited!!! Alllll of that stress about college is almost completely gone. It's such a great feeling knowing that you have at least ONE college that you can go to...
Anyways, my mom is pissed at me about school. I don't know what's been going on with me, but it's been harder and harder to actually stay...I find myself skipping for no reason; I just dont want to go...But everything has a consequence and I'm now in BIG trouble with my parents. Luckily the ECU thing made them lighten the punishment a little.
I'm almost happy that I've been punished though. This may sound weird, but whenever I get into trouble and have things taken away from me, I end up appreciating the little things that mean so much to me. For example: Frankie isn't allowed to come over and I'm not allowed to go to his house or go out or anything for a while...but you know what, being away from him only makes me love him more because I value what time I DO have with him now. Today he came to just drop off my Anatomy and Government books...and just having him there made me feel 100% better. He made everything okay again. I was so happy. I just like having that rewarding feeling. It's nice...
