I'm back to this little space of mine to update on my life. Somewhat, I feel guilty - guilty for not living to the objective of blogging, which was about keeping track about my life and preserving the 'young' memories. I have many different sides of me, varied thoughts but not being able to write about all of them publicly had a lost of meaning in writing. Or rather, I'd always make way with BUSY as an excuse.
Okay.. so this academic semester was an enjoyable one but this holiday has failed to be the same. I've planned to complete all the findings of further studies and to get my application stuff all done up before semester starts. Instead of getting all this up my sleeves, I am still in total confusion on which country to consider and which uni to apply to. So.... yep, I did nothing in the end. I didn't come back to this issues since the 1st week of holiday. It's been a month now.. Sigh. How I wish my GPA is good enough for a place in the local uni.
Guess what I've been doing this holiday though... TV TV TV and more TV shows. I did not really spend time with the boy (coz we couldn't really afford dating already) nor my friends. So I soaked myself into the perks of watching TV shows.

Nonetheless, here's some highlight of this holiday.
Reconnect with my lecturers
I've approached one or two of my ex-lecturers whom I can connect to and of course b'cus they are my favourite lecturers. I approached Ms Song about further studies and she gave me really good advices. Yup and she shared with me the milestone of her career and such. I'm so inspired that I printed out to highlighted them in colors to make notes for myself. I've also approached other lecturers for testimonials but I don't think I can get it this holiday. I need to get 1 solid testimonial so I have to reconsider certain stuff.
First ad-hoc/part-time job
I took up this waitressing job offered by Kristin with a pleasing pay. I did BAR twice and after 3 or 4 hours my left arm would have ached so bad. But it was a good experience and plus I needed cold hard cash. The company I work under serve in Canapé style and it's only for functions and all. It was pretty fun though, a good work out on my muscle-less arm I suppose.
Hao Jie's 20th Bday @ Swissôtel The Stamford
I've planned a better surprise/party for the boy considering that I might not be there on his 21st. So, being one of those meticulous (or calculative) business student, I researched for almost a week for the most suitable hotel to celebrate his BIG 20! Yes, I picked Swissôtel as there was a cheap deal (compare to other hotels at that kind of price, they have a bigger room too) and it is one significant building in singapore (tallest building).
No doubt, I invited his good friends. There's no way a party will get to without friends.
Most of them are busy on the actual day and I told it's gonna be a 1-man show all day long. I felt dishearten at first but Qian & Ashley offered help. That day, my wonderful parents dropped me off at Bugis to get helium balloons and banner for the deco.I took 30 mins to choose an affordable and proper banner. Le sigh
Yes, and I walked to the hotel with 20 floating coloured balloons. All eyes on me. I hate the attention and what made it worst was the strong wind that day. The balloons keep hitting the passerbys around me. Urghhhh I took big steps and fast walk to end the agony. I walked to the reception for check in and the staff helped me hold my balloons while I do so. How nice. I've got free upgraded to a room with harbour view.. All smileyyyyy

So I went up to chillax abit while waiting for the girls to reach before I went for a boring window shopping with the bday boy. He hates shopping but I made him do it out of no choice that day. With all other friends gathered, I brought him up and he was surprised, I know. He even checked the room of the price on the net and kept saying it's expensive. We then headed for dinner at Manhattan's Fish Market @ MS with the rest. There were 19 of us, ordering and billing was a chaos. So the boys went back for some games from G's PS3 while some of us set up the banner discreetly for cake-cutting.
I bought him an Oakley Radar Path to protect his vulnerable eyes from the evil UV rays. Hopefully he wears it everytime for I'd be no point for spending on that gift. I believe everything was worthwhile, looking at the smile on his face.
HAPPY 20th B'DAY BBY! <3

BATAM Trip
I'll be going to BATAM this Friday (28 Sept). With the fear of getting on board a ship (I've sea sick btw) engulfing my soul, I pray that it'll be a fun getaway and everyone come back safe in one piece. X
Will update when I'm back
WASSUPBEE BBQ
Happening on 13th Oct!!!! It's been a month since I last met wassupbee!! Getting into NDP 2012, and knowing these friends were one of the greatest things that happened in my Poly life. I'm my true self when I'm with them, especially along with the crazy Ai Yin, with our short-tongue accent, we can clique really well. I can clique well with almost all of them in WASSUPBEE. I hope our friendship don't end just after NDP or this year. <3
