turkey day, and thoughts flow through my mind even when miserably full.
Am I really here?
Is everyone seeing this?
Or is this just a figment
I should tell my brain to dismiss?
I know that people say
"I have to see it to believe it."
Do they know it's in their brain, not the eyes
And they can imagine to see it?
I feel sometimes if I close my eyes tightly
And I can imagine those beautiful waves
Even if it is night time, or I'm far away
I can truly be where my heart stays.
A memory is not soon forgotten
An image to stay within our thoughts
