Ooku
I finally had a chance to watch the movie Ooku the other day. (yay! ^^) I must admit that at first I really don't have high expectation for this movie, which was the reason why it was just recently that I watched it despite the fact that I had it downloaded for quite sometime now. XD But I enjoyed it, quite a lot actually...that I finished watching it until 1am eventhough I was already super sleepy and had to wake up after 5 freakin' hours for my work. I even managed to convince my parents to watch with me, and I believe they also liked it since they didn't mind sleeping late just to finish watching a Japanese period movie...which is really very unusual of them! O_o
Of course, as expected of Nino, his acting here was flawless! And as weird as his hairstyle was, he actually looked good all throughout the movie...and that's me not being biased, hokei! =D Dude's eyes can really act on its own...I most likely will choose him too from those 200 pretty guys after seeing those expressive eyes, and that's me already being biased. XD
All in all, it really is a good period movie with a very interesting plot...and I think anyone can enjoy it. Of course if you're a Nino fan, you should definitely not miss this...Nino alone will make you love the movie, I tell yah! ;)
