I have finally made peace with my hair.
It's frizzy. And sometimes it's curly... but sometimes it looks kind of strait. And most of the time I fry the crap out of it with my hair straightener... but I think Ive made peace.
Also I've made peace with my name. Sydnee isn't weird, it's adorable! It's not an old mans name, it's my name and I'm not an old man! And so what that it's spelled differently, and I will never be able to go to a souvenir shop and buy something with my name on it, I have too much crap anyway. My name rocks!
Also also, the other day was the inauguration of the first african american president, I'm super excited to see what kind of things this is going to bring, hopefully this year is going to rock even more than I hope it will. It was also super cool to watch my sister and my old marching band march in the parade, they were awesome and I'm so proud of them. I think they just experienced something life changing that they'll never forget.
I'm already liking my classes and new schedule for this semester. No class on mon or fri is totally awesome! I hope I still love it as much as i do now as the semester goes on!
I went to tampa last weekend and stopped in Gainesville for a few hours on the way there. I got to see some awesome people who I really miss and that was awesome! Tampa rocked as well, and I got to hang with Nicole which also rocked.
