Oh happy day
Today was soooooooooo much better than yesterday!! I've basically accepted the fact that I didn't get my license(though I'm still slightly bitter about it) and I had a great day today! My friends all gave my big hugs when I went to school today and told me it was okay. Taryn even gave me this cool Crunch bar thing. I love my friends. Also, I got to dress up today for spirit. We had to dress like school girls cause the varsity played this girls' prep school called Mercy. So I wore this cute black skirt with a white button down shirt and a cool tie I borrowed from my dad. I striaightened my hair and put it in pigtails and then wore knee socks(they were actually a pair of white soccer socks I have) and black high heels. I totally looked the part and am happy to say I was definately the best dressed out of all my team. Plus, I think the school girl look really works for me! Lol. So that was a lot of fun.
My classes today weren't bad at all, though I did get tons of homework from missing yesterday and then I still got more due monday. In math I won a raffle and got a Hershey bar. Yumminess! In Lit all we did was have S.S.R.(sustained silent reading if you didn't know). I unfortunately forgot both of the books I'm reading at home though but I picked a book from my teacher's library just for fun but I ended up loving it so she said I could take it. So I'm currently reading 3 books at one time!! Go me!! Lol. Then I had lunch with most of my friends which was great. I had to go do a make up chem quiz during study hall. But that didn't take long at all and I think I only got one wrong. XD Then I went back to study hall and read while I listened to Coldplay!
After that, I went to my next period class but we didn't do anything there cause we were having our pep rally!! i love pep rallys! The school Senate holds one every year on the day of the first home football game. It's a lot of fun cause we sit by grade and we have like noise contests. The freshman always lose cause they never know what to do and it's so funny. The also indroduced the captains for the fall sports. Then there was this little skit thing that they had to sort of promote the football game tonight. It was pretty funny. Then there was a student vs. faculty tug of war with about 1 student from each grade vs. 4 teachers. It was interesting. Lol. Then it was over pretty much. This years wasn't as long as the previous ones but it was still fun.
After school was over I had an hour soccer practice before we left to go across the street to the varsity soccer game. My team won 2 to 1 which it awesome. Tomorrow we play that JV team of Mercy so I hope we win too. After the game was over, I drove me, my mom, and carissa to my brother's college to pick him up cause he wanted to go to the game that night and a couple of his friends were in town. Once we dropped Carissa off at her house I had to race home and take a really quick shower and eat. Then my mom brought me to the football game.
I don't know about you guys but football games in my town are pretty much social events for the students. I mean, sure we watch the game but it's pretty much a place to see and be seen. Also, it's an event for all the kids to get drunk or high. And soooooooo many kids were drunk tonight, omg it was crazy. They're all so stupid cause there're tons of cops around. My town has a really bad alcohol problem. It's really stupid. Beer and other stuffs so gross I think. Yuck. The football game was so fun though cause when I get around a lot of people I get really hyped and stuff. My and my friends had a good time. My team lost but there's nothing new there. Lol.
So, my agenda's pretty full for tomorrow. I've got a game at 1030 and I have to be at the field at 945. After that I have to go to Family Day at my brother's college. I hope I meet some cute college guys! *thinks hopefully* Lol. Did I mention that my daddy's going to Italy on business? He's sooooooo lucky!! I want to go! I told him he better take tons of pictures...Anyway, after that, Carissa's coming with me to the mall so I can pick out a homecoming dress. I love going dress shopping! I've got to be smoking this yeah so it may take some time to find the right one...
