Hey kids~
Alright, I know most of you are poor/broke-ass mofo's, but hear me out.
Tomorrow my work has our annual Maryland Wine Festival Bike Ride & 5K Run (well, alright, the run part is new). I, along with my roomie and the amazing Heather C., will be waking up around 430 in the AM, leaving by 5, and getting there between 6 and 630 to help get things set up and ready to go. Then starting at 7, we will be working at one of the rest stops until the last people go through, possibly around 1 in the afternoon.
A few of you are riding or running (you know who you are), and I can't thank you enough for all the hard work you've done to help raise money for this!
The rest of you bums... I have a favor to ask.
One of our participants, Mike Krull (Ally Krull's uncle, for all you duckfarmers out there) has been busting his ass getting pledges, and keeping me entertained the past few weeks with phone calls and voice mails...they've definitely helped me keep my sanity while working crazy hours. Anyway, he is attempting to top his record last year and be the highest fundraiser we've ever had for this event. And I love the guy, and am putting a plea out there, if you have an extra $5, pledge it to this guy. To make things better, his work (W.R. Grace) will DOUBLE anything you give, so that small $5 turns into $10 with no extra effort on your part.

Like I said, I know many of you are poor, I am too, and this is very last minute because the event is tomorrow, but all the proceeds go towards funding to help children with asthma, and I am one of those children! Do it so that I can keep on breathing ;-)
I'm going to see every single pledge that comes in today, and if you show up, if you live near me, I'll buy you a shot, if not, well, I'll think of something, you know me ;-)
