Hi! I'm Destiny (dreamsofdest1ny ), you can call me Dreamz, Destiny, whatever. I'm the main moderator of this community and the person you'll have to go through to get to most of the good stuff. Hex (exotification) and April (rainierdays) are the two other mods; they're in-charge of backends stuff and doujinshi translations respectively. Personally, I'm a little picky and arguably anal when it comes to formatting -- but I truly like this manga as much as you! I also have a tendency to lose interest, so expect... periods (up to six months~) of inactivity. Fair warning, I hope?

This is a community for all things 黒子のバスケ (The Basketball Which Kuroko Plays) -- though by all things, I mean "all well-made things that are original to some degree" which means, yes, that's right!! more moderation of entries! :D As many of our members may have noticed, this is a community made and run by someone who has no idea how livejournal communities normally work; there are a lot of idiosyncrasies -- some good, some inexplicable, some aesthetic, but none that are straight-up bad. It's mainly a result of the single philosophy that created this community in the first place: to provide quality fanworks for the Kuroko no Basket fandom.
As a result of that single goal, the community is heavily skewed towards fanfiction, though there are a couple fanarts, graphics, doujinshi translations, manga translations/scanlations, and discussions interspersed throughout (you're welcome, of course, to try to offset the balance!). If you think it's your cup of tea, we'd be happy to have you among our ranks (whether you're a lurker, contributor, reviewer, or whatever) -- just read the rules and you'll be set to go! (:

side-note: Of the 200+ archived pieces of fanart and fanfic, less than 50% of them appear as actual posts. The rest are embedded in the comments section of various other posts. So how are you, the desperate fan, supposed to locate these reclusive pieces of fanart/fanfic? By using our meticulously-categorized delicious archive (compliments of exotification), of course!

rulesforMEMBERS
(1) There are no requirements for being a regular member. Regular members get to see everything in the community but they do not get posting rights.
(2) If you're planning on being an active member of the community, please share your favorite characters/pairings over at their respective discussion entries and fill out this friending meme so we can get to know your preferences~
(3) Keep an open mind, watch out for spoilers (they're never warned), random inserts of speculation (also never warned), and try to remember that in the face of their overwhelming nitpickiness, the mods are here to prune and fertilize, not hack down the whole forest.

(1) All titles must follow this format { TITLE / type-of-entry / RATING }. Example: { DESIRE / fanfic / PG }
(2) All posts must be members-locked.
(3) Retroactive crossposting is not allowed.
(4) Fake cutting is not allowed except in the rare instance that it's within the community for a non-permanent post.
(5) Ficposts over 1000 words and artposts featuring more than one picture are advised.
(6) Cutting is advised, but for actual entries, there is no set format (use moderation, lest you be moderated! xD).
(7) If you want to be granted posting access, simply comment with "Tetsuya #2 would make a terrible basketball" on this entry. For the sake of keeping up-to-date with the posting rules, if you don't obtain a "by_your-username" tag in the delicious archive within three months, we will assume you don't mean to use them. You're welcome (always and of course!) to comment again and prove us wrong~ (we just like keeping our posting members hovering around 100)
