Christmas update #2
K... so where was I??
Christmas dinner:
We had pork loin, dumplings, sauerkraut, rolls, cinnamon bread, corn... that may have been it. Then we cleaned up. I did all the dishes (Alex and Julianna did minimal drying). Next stop, dessert. There was some kind of holiday ginger cake from Starbucks (apparently 500 calories a slice, lol), mummy had made peanut brittle, rats tails (my favorite cookies), almond horns, delal cookies (basically a plain cookie on the bottom, jelly, and a plain cookie on top), peppermint pie (food of the gods!), and... more candy and such.
I went to bed later and watched se7en. Hadn't seen it in a while. Forgot the twists it takes.
Yesterday:
I got up, went to meet mum and (who was it?) Alex at McDonalds. Hung out there for a while (gotta love McDs!). Then we went to the mall, which was pretty croweded. I got a book ("A Thread of Grace") so that was cool. Then we went to the movie theater and saw Narnia. Second time I'd seen it. Again, AWESOME. I love it. After that, we rushed over to the Winters house to eat. We'd gotten a ton of pizza (I always forget how good Little Caesers is...), Destiny made corn chowder (yummy), they had plain popcorn covered with a sour cream and chive seasoning from the Amish (wicked good), and then cookies for dessert.
The babies are just too cute. Eating there is much more calm now that the youngest is 3. After eating, we talked a bit, then we (Juji, Des, and I) went down to Tzietel's room to show us the tv she got for Christmas. Tzietel's lucky that she has a room of her own. It's nice. Anyway, we talked down there for a while. Then we headed back upstairs. The babies (Tzipporah and Zahava) were all over me. It was fun. "I wanna sit in your lap." "No! You had your turn!" Too funny. Of course, they they got tired and a bit wild, so I started getting hit a little. But they're cute... I easily forgave them. ;)
Well, that was pretty much yesterday. Today... I need to get out of bed and take a shower. I told Mr. Carroll I'd be at bowling today so he could give me some cds he wanted to burn. I really don't like going to the bowling alley, but... he seemed excited to see me. So... McDonalds at 12:15 (as usual) and Walmart I think. Juji has high school bowling later, so while everyone is at the bowling alley, I'll just head back to the Winters to hang out.
