(no subject)
Well let's c..starting w/ Day On the Job...went w/ the faja~ 1st to waynsbooro to make rounds...we saw 9 patients, like 4 of them were a bunch of woosies, there was nothing wrong!! eww and then i saw a lady get a corderzone shot..ehh BIG needle! it looked painful, and she said it was. after my dad saw his patients we went to lunch, then to his hagerstown office to pick up paperwork and then across the sidewalk to the surgery center...thats when i met Deb, she is a ...uh i dunno what its called but shes kinda like a nurse but it started w/ a "c" she was really cool, i went into the women's locker room and got dressed up...my scrub pants, ugly scrub floral shirt, w/ matching jacket (both were WAY TOO BIG!) then i got on my rubber gloves, lil paper bonnet thing to cover hair and my face mask...wow wearing that mask for like 4 strait hrs made me feel a lil lightheaded. yea so i saw 3 surgeries. One by my dad's partner, Dr. Milford who did a carpel tunnel release in this lady's hand, they didn;t put her the whole way asleep but she was like half out..it was soo funny cuz she was just like talking and saying stuff like out of the blue," haha that curtain is blue" we all couldn't help but laugh, i mean, when she finally does "wake up" she won't remeber a thing..so n e way, dr milford did this carpel tunnel relase where he cut open her palm, like almost by the wrist and goes into the muscle, cuts the muscle so that the nurve is free and isn't banging into the muscle causing discomfort..pretty cool, and theres like no blood cuz they but a turniquet on her arm so it stops the blood flow until their done.
Next was my dad, who operated on this dude who aparently had a piece of metal in his leg that was hurting him. so my dad went in and in his calf muscle, there was a 1 cm big pebble..gross!! haha it was cool tho, they put it in a jar and were going to give it to the guy when he awoken...
Final patient at about 4:00... had arthrital damage in his ankle, so faja went in and did a scope ( make a hole and stck in a tiny camera on the end of a tube) and look at this TV screen type thing to see inside...then makes another hole to stick this sucker thing in and sucks out all the arthritial damage..wow that took sooo long, i fell asleep, seriosuly... then went home and napped until matt's wrestling match against boonsboroo
well.....lets c today.HAHA TENNIS w/ asher, jeni, allen and stephen in math, soo funny omygosh!
showed dani and asher my "laugh" and they were dying!!
bball, running down the court when ashley accidently sticks out her foot and i trip, fly like 5 feet in the air and SMACK!!hit the floor flat on my face, it was soo loud, julie describes it as 2 pieces of wood hitting eachother, evryone looks and runs over and they thought i was crying but i was hysterically laughing my bootox off..it hurt my knee and my hands from the "smack" but it was really funny..we were trying to scrimage and evryone couldn't run or do n e thing cuz we were all dying from laughing so hard..ask asher lol
well that leaves me to kno..need to shower off my sweaty body...
North game tomorrow and i get in free w/ the bball team!! ok well later fellaz
