(no subject)
so, here's my little convergys story
Wednesday, they told us that convergys is opening up a new project called charter and they asked us to volunteer to indicate our interest in joining that project instead of the one we're in now. It would have meant chatting via internet with customers, and responding to emails, which I am better at doing than talking, so I volunteered. Out of the ten people who volunteered in our training class, 5 of us were chosen and I was one of them. So, I was all excited that I had gotten off answering phones right at the last minute (they told us thursday). THEN on friday afternoon, after I had stopped paying attention for two days, they come back and tell us that in fact we won't be able to do charter because they want people with more experience. This has made next week's schedule change 3 times in the past three days. idiots. So now I'm resigning myself back to answering phones again. Sometimes, I really wish people could just get organized.
On a happy note, I don't start work till 3pm for every day next week, AND I get a partner for the first two days.
I need to get out of my house and do something fun.
I watched she's the man at cinema city, and I don't care what other people think of it, I thought it was pretty hilarious. Shakespear had good ideas, if only in a very difficult and frankly outdated language.
