woah
i don't know where to start...
so the past couple of months have been something that i would have never expected. have done things i didn't think were going to happen. between meeting and dating so and so and getting where the band is, it all hasn't been half bad. still have the same old friends who i can party and bullshit with. still have the same old band, kind of... we just recently changed our name: Excerpts Of A True Story . it's most likely going to stay like that, considering it has been for a good month already. unless something changes. but anyway, we're doing well. got the demo done a while back, played a good amount of shows over the summer, and have big plans for the future. more songs are being worked on and are going to be recorded soon. merch is trying to be made but it's hard getting good designs (someone help us out). we're going to keep playing as many shows as possible. and as far as another CD goes, it'll be our EP...won't be done for a while. this year we're going to work on songs for it, and hopefully towards the end of the school year we will begin recording and if all goes well, finish by summer.
anyway, i'm still at dunkin donuts.........plan on staying there until i graduate. i'm gonna try to get another job along side this one though, atleast for a little while. then once i graduate, hopefully the band will still be in shape for the tour we're planning. once that ends and i'm home, i'm gonna just go work with my dad. i'm not sure what i'm doing as far as college goes, but i don't think anything big like going away. we'll see.
1 more week and i'll be a senior. 2 more months and i'll be 17. 4/5 more months and i'll be driving. gonna try and enjoy this year as much as possible.
