so im home, just waiting for this crazy jet lag to catch up with me.
going out of the country is insane when you either gain or lose a day.
i left the states on a saturday, i got to australia on a monday
i left australia on sunday, i got back to the states on saturday
i missed two whole days, and having a 16 hour gap between my friends made talking to them either really hard or really difficult because i would sometimes get woken up at like 2 am...but as soon as i stopped sleeping things got better, somehow i stayed on Georgia time at night, and there were a few 24 hour days for me where i got no sleep.
with all of that bitching aside.
i got to play some of the best tennis i have ever played in my life, i owe a lot to my team mates from ITA. i have gotten a lot closer with them since we had to live together for a week, and we're going to be doing it again soon, on the 12th, when we got to new york, it should be exciting, but maybe this time we wont get into trouble. which made coming home nice, my parents finding about my escapades over seas. but what-ev.
we placed 8th overall, which was a lot better than i thought we would have done.
if we would have had one more set then we would be staying another week, but i'm glad to be home, i missed everyone terribly, but some things got accomplished while i was gone, i finally got to talk to people on the phone that i thought there was no hope ever getting together again with them, so that made the trip nice, and the emails were a nice thing to wake up to, so to who ever sent me emails...thanks and i love you.
on another note, my dad bought a house in fla, so there moving and im either going with them in Dec, or im going to stay here in an apt. until i finish up at south...i guess it depends on how the first semester goes.
hopefully i'll see you cool kids sometime...
love love
