I wonder why God allows us to fall in love with the wrong people?

There's always a lesson to be learned. So I have found thus far. It at least lets you learm more about what you need in a person, versus what you think you want someone to be. Plus you realize what you need to be to be there for that potential someone. Life is all about growth. I find it hard sometime to accept, but stumbling blocks and and people that turn out not to be the one, are there to prepare you for the right situation.
I tried out a church today, and the preacher gave a nice simple analogy about how he rode in a hot air baloon this week. He saw all the areas of his city and neighborhoods that he had been in for years; but also saw farms and areas within and surrounding the town that were hidden from normal street view-areas that he didn't know existed from his normal perspective of driving around, thinking he knew every inch of the town from that level. So, that was the point of the lesson: allowing God to work his plan, and striving to see it from that perspective. There are things looming on the horizon that we can't forsee. I took some comfort in that.
