Allo :) I'm lookin for a leetle advice! Am currently shopping round for car and contents insurance and would like to know who you'd recommend for what. Any horrible experiences? Anyone actually good to deal with? Anyone actually within a poor student budget?

Since you're renting, I recommend making sure your insurance has a nice chunky liability cover section. That part's the only reason I got contents insurance, really.

Car insurance: third-party isn't too expensive, and is well worth having. I'm unconvinced by comprehensive insurance, personally.

If you have access to them [if you ask nicely I can go find the one weekend after next], the Consumer magazine does profile-based comparisons of insurance options every so often.
