How Useless Are you?

A television writer realizes just how unimportant she would be in a post apocalyptic society.   Being a writer, she has to  made a video blog of her efforts to be more valuable.   This includes being in better shape, learning to grow food and basic first aid skills.

What is amusing to me is that ever since I read 'The Stand' back in the 10th grade

My mom always told me not to worry about that stuff. We lived close enough to an air force base that if there was a disaster (read: nuclear war), we'd not be around to deal with the aftermath, so why worry?

That doesn't really take into account the zombies, though. Does it?

Wow, I had forgotten that growing up in Jacksonville NC, we were frequently told how the Russians would nuke us first because of Camp Lejune. I almost feel better.
